Gleeds continues expansion with three new U.S locations
Gleeds is continuing with its global expansion plans by opening a further three offices in the United States. The premises in Los Angeles, Charlotte and Nashville join the firm’s four existing locations in Atlanta, New York, Chicago and San Francisco, greatly extending its reach across the country.
Gleeds’ team in the U.S has grown by over 20% in the last year thanks to the business’ ongoing diversification. Developments in the energy sector have seen a huge upturn across the Carolinas and Nashville in particular, while a host of opportunities in southern California have contributed to the need for an enhanced local presence on the West Coast.
Commenting on the expansion plans Richard Steer, Chairman of Gleeds Worldwide, said: “Despite a backdrop of economic uncertainty, Gleeds has been flourishing in the States and we are delighted to be continuing on that path with the opening of three new offices. Our specialism in the energy sector has really paid dividends for us here but we are also seeing fantastic growth across the board”.
Chris Soffe, President and CEO of Gleeds Americas, added: “Each new location presents an exciting opportunity for Gleeds to develop our offering and build a solid client base. Increasingly, we are achieving success with repeat clients who have been impressed with our work on a particular project and themselves have offices nationwide – driving our desire to establish a presence in key states to ensure we are able to deliver the same exceptional service anywhere in the U.S.”.
Under the stewardship of Executive Vice Presidents Chris Williams and Stuart Lumsden, recent appointments for Gleeds include a prestigious residential development on behalf of a leading investment bank in Charlotte, as well as an auto manufacturing facility for an international car parts producer in Nashville.
