Shopping Centre 'Tannbuschcenter' in Bonn

Modernisation needs measures. Wide-ranging revitalisation measures have been implemented in the shopping center „Tannbuschcenter“ located in Bonn, Germany. Die former sheltered shopping street was demolished and rebuilt, the shopping street along the Oppelner street was completely removed and the shops were refurbished and extended. Further to the anchor tenant fit-outs for Kaufland and Deichmann other tenant areas were refurbished. Approximately 4,000m² demolition works, 3,200m² new built area and 1,800m² expansion furthermore 4,000m² external areas - this are the figures of this revitalisation.


The re-opening took place in January 2017; the TannbuschCenter offers now 12,000m² of rental area with approx. 25 shops.

Basis of the decision of our client to invest into the revitalisation were e. g. the feasibility study prepared by Gleeds as well as the development of different options of action. Gleeds provided procurement advice, project and cost management whilst the construction phase. The measures were implemented during the ongoing and full operation shopping center; the cooperation and communication between all members of the team was an important part for the efficient and smoothly project execution.
